CuteFTP Home is also very good. This program is user-friendly, and features a step-by-step wizard. Download a free trial.
CoffeeCup Free FTP is a very simple, ad-supported ftp program. It is free for home use, but be aware that you will have to click through some Coffee Cup ads to get to the program.
CoreFTP Lite is a more sophisticated free ftp program. This program is full of features, but familiarity with ftp programs is recommended. A great program!
When your web space is ready, use your current ftp client to upload pages to your new site, use the publish feature in Microsoft Front Page, or download an ftp program using the links below. Use your SuperPA.net username and password to access the ftp server.
Your new URL is:
www.pawebworld.com/username
After you've created your webpage on your own computer, you'll need to transfer the files to ours. This can be done by using an ftp program to move the files, or by using the publishing feature in Microsoft Front Page.
Upload files to www.pawebworld.com/(insert your SuperPA.net username), and use your SuperPA.net username and password to connect. Your SuperPA.net username is the part of your email address before the @ sign.
For example, if your username is webuser, and your password is internet:
upload your files to www.pawebworld.com/webuser
Enter your username as: webuser
Enter your password as: internet
You will connect to the server.
Microsoft Front Page will transfer files to the server. If you are using an ftp program, you can drag and drop files from your computer directly to the server. Refer to your software documentation for details.
